Camera permission
Camera King asks for camera access only when you open the Camera tab and choose to continue. Camera access is needed to show the live view and capture photos. You can change the permission later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
Capture failed or the preview is unavailable
- Confirm that Camera King has camera access in Settings.
- Close another app that may be using the camera, then reopen Camera King.
- Make sure the device is not restricted by Screen Time or a device-management policy.
- You can still import an existing photo from Home or Gallery and continue editing.
Photos are not visible in the Photos app
Every capture is saved to Camera King's in-app library first. To also save captures to Photos, allow Camera King to add photos when prompted. If access was previously denied, enable it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos, then try again.
Capture modes and editing
Photo captures the full frame. Portrait applies a portrait crop and Square applies a 1:1 crop. Tap the preview to focus and adjust exposure, and use the grid, level, flash and camera-switch controls when available.
Camera King Pro
Camera King Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It unlocks the Pro editing and export features for the Apple Account that made the purchase. To restore it, open Profile or the Pro screen and choose Restore Purchase. No subscription is required.
